DJI has upgraded another one of their flagship drones and it is the Inspire 2. They also gave us the new Phantom 4 Pro today, check out my article on that too. But here let’s talk about the Inspire 2.

To start it off, the Inspire 2 has a top speed of 67 mph and can get up to 50 mph in 4 seconds. It now has the same obstacle avoidance sensors as their Phantom 4 which got an upgrade on the obstacle avoidance sensors. The Inspire 2 has up to 27 minutes of flight time which is a pretty good upgrade from the previous 18 minutes.

The camera on the Inspire 2 has a Zenmuse X5S sensor which can shoot 4K videos at 60 fps. This camera will also take RAW photos at 20 shots per second. Which is very consistent if it’s true. But a raising problem with these is that with time they slow down. So if DJI is keeping the software updated then it will be impressive. It also has swappable lenses. So different angles and distances should be a little more fun to shoot from. This one also has a 1 inch sensor like the Phantom 4 Pro and it shoots 20 megapixel stills. So that is a good collaboration in the camera department. We just have to see if this is as good when using as on paper.

Inspire 2 is up for preorder now and it has a price tag of about $3,000. The orders will go out in December.
